The Sharing Foundation provides FREE books for local children year round, with the help of the Police & Fire Departments. Our goal is to help encourage reading. It is very important for children to own their very own books to read anytime they wish. These books can also be enjoyed by other family members. The Foundation acquires it's books from many sources such as yard sales, bookstores, and organizations. Your help would be greatly appreciated if you would donate your children's old, no longer needed books. Over 10,000 used children's books were given away to Head Start Programs, Recreation Centers, and Boys & Girls Clubs, to date. Just drop off your book donations at any local Anne Arundel County Fire Dept. or call us and we will arrange to take your tax-deductible donation.
